As of august 14th there hasnt been any new updates, last update was 2018/8/12 11:02 Departure export customs BEIJING EMS i suppose it hasnt left china yet?

yes. http://track-chinapost.com/result_eub.php?code=LZ657399710CN shows your parcel just arrived Mexico processing center on Aug 17.
