On May 21 I ordered something on aliexpress through china post ordinary small packet plus. The tracking number I got was MP13738826XSG. I tried using multiple websites to track it but none of them worked. I was wondering if this is a fake number or if i just need to wait longer for the information to be updated.

2. Your number is not tracking yet, maybe seller did not put into the mail the parcel. You should contact him and ask him were to track the number he gave you and if the parcel was physically put into the mail system.

3. Depending what seller is telling you, you will know if he is honest with you.

4. Those tracking number can not be verify by the Universal Postal System because they are number for independent courier company.
