I bought something from eBay and Chinese seller issued this tracking P000003720231 (Item is not found at this moment, If necessary, please verify with the package sender and check back later). Does anyone here know which Chinese shipping carrier the tracking number belongs to?

2. But if you just receive the tracking number you will need to wait a few days.

The item was shipped on 10/15/16 (4 days ago). Today, I received a message from the seller indicating it is a Singapore post which shows item status not found in the system (as of this writing).

1. Just ask the seller to provide you with a link to track your parcel. Tell him you can not track your parcel anywhere. See what he his going to say to you.

I did and the seller responded with Singapore post. I just checked with Singapore Post and it responded with this error message Item status not found in the system.

When you 1st mentioned 4Px, it showed an empty track. Now, it shows the shipment destination country is Norway and I live in Lilburn, GA (USA).

2. Contact seller with the above tracking and ask him if he made a mistake about your parcel to USA. If the answer does not meet your expectation, then open a dispute to get your money back. If you open a dispute include the above tracking about the parcel the seller sent you.

Exactly. The issued me with such a tracking number that is destined to a different country (Norwegia) other than the country I live in (USA). I already contacted the seller sans a response. So, I had no choice but to file the eBay resolution center to get my money back.

These days, I noticed more and more Chinese sellers on eBay intentionally furnish their transactions with a wrong tracking number thinking they can fool their buyers. I have encountered this issue several times in the past month and already got my money back. This is just a waste of resources. I think all Chinese shipping companies should include the destination country (like as shown on this tracking number above) in their shipping status. This way, buyer can be notified immediately, instead of having to wait for a much longer time for the never arriving delivery.
