1. I would not be surprise that your parcel is already in UK but Royal Mail did not scan it yet.

2. I guess you just need to be patient and check regularly on the Royal Mail site for any update.

3. I did not find anything unusual about your parcel. Last tracking is this:
2016-09-23 10:15:09.0 leaving Shanghai Int'l Airport going to next airport/seaport

Hi,
It seems China is now having national day holiday lasting the entire week until Oct 7. Does this affect the delivery of parcels or not? So will all parcels movement be frozen till Oct 8?? Then when open again on the 8th, wont there be a huge backlog of parcels to be processed??

1. If the last tracking is true, like this one:

In Shanghai, left Shanghai Pudong airport

2. Then your parcel is possibly in UK, like I told you before I suspect your parcel was not scan yet by Royal Mail.

3. I can not see China Post stopping mail bag that are ready to get on board Aircraft not getting onto them because of a Holiday. China Local Post office and China Main Post Office yes they might be on holiday.

4. I have seen here parcel taking up to 2 weeks before it was scan by Royal Mail at London Heathrow airport hub.

5. You just need to be patient about your parcel.
