I ordered some small item which the seller shipped via China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus.
It's my first time to experience this Ordinary Small Packet Plus shipment (my previous orders had been sent using China Post Registered Airmail or Singapore Post; all of these need to be picked up at our local post office - PhilPost).
For the Small Packet Plus -- Tracking # 06268256089 shows the following:
2017-07-13 09:53:48 Electronic Data Received
2017-07-14 09:04:33 Dongguan city Post Office eCommerce dept. international parcel process dept. received
2017-07-14 10:51:52 Dongguan city Post Office eCommerce dept. international parcel process dept. customs scan
2017-07-14 11:00:22 leaving Dongguan city Post Office eCommerce dept. international parcel process dept. ,next station Dongguan center
It's 11 days since the last update. The last update is Dongguan Center -- is this already outbound from China?
(For comparison: my previous experience for the China Post Registered Airmail --generally has some update every 3-4 days. While for the Singapore Post, there's also regular updates in tracking info -- I think there was a 'pause' in the update only when the package was transitting from China to Singapore and there's no update during that time, but the update resumed from Singapore outwards to the Philippines)
As I do not have any previous info for this type of shipment, how long on average does China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus arrive in the Philippines? Is it normal to have no regular updates in the tracking system? (how do I know item has arrive in the Philippine Post Office and ready for pickup -- no record of the number in the PhilPost tracking system for now)
Another question: I just read that magnetic items are not allowed, the above Ordinary Small Packet Plus is actually 3 small flashlights (batteries not included) that have a magnetic clip (so it can hang on metal wall) -- could this be a reason for the delay in shipment?
