I purchased a package recently and received tracking info from Track 17 company. My tracking number to use with their site is 89833942318 They informed me China Post was the carrier. Item was supposed to arrive in 1-3 weeks. Its been 4 weeks as of yesterday. Last tracking info says "Plan Navigation". Track 17 said the item is considered surface mail? Is the item really being shipped or not? Any help would be great.

Order number from company/web site (www.trainergreece.com) is 210506P00000041

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows 89833942318 was shipped on Oct 17.

this kind of 11 digit number is china post ordinary parcel. This is a slow and cheap service for low value item. China Post will not scan and update its status after it left first post office. so you can not see new status and know where it is now. china post ordinary parcel might take 4 to 12 weeks to reach your country.

Thanks for the response, so my original question is does this purchase seem legit even if it cant be tracked?

Frankly speaking, I never heard of trainergreece.com. I am not sure if this website has any buyer protection policy like ebay/amazon/aliexpress. if there is no such protection, you should be very very cautious.

Well...I dont disagree with that, but the purchase has already been made of course
Is it possible that a sit like this can send a fraudulent tracking number, and it is still a legit tracking number on your end? If known?

your seller can visit many buyer forums and copy other people's tracking number from other peoples's topic. the number can be real but not belong to your order.
