Post Fake tracking number?

I bought something from china and I'm in the US and they give me a tracking number but I'm not sure if it's a real one or not or what the status is on it can anybody help me? EV838249783CN

http://track-chinapost.com/result_global.php?code=EV838249783CN shows the parcel was shipped on Aug 10. It is waiting for flight space from china to USA. waiting time can take 7 to 20 days. There will be no update during waiting time.
Everything looks normal, no need worry.
