Post Where is my parcel?

Hi there!
I am expecting a package from China and was assured that it would arrive before the end of January. I require it by 31/01 at the latest.
My tracking number is EA293330665CN and I can see that it has last been "received by overseas carrier" on the 20/01 with no further updates.
What does this mean and is it enroute to Australia?

http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php shows seller actually shipped EA293330665CN on Jan 20. Normally EMS will travel about 2 to 3 weeks to reach Australia receiver. you have less than 30% chance to get it before Jan 31.

Your parcel was mailed on 20 Jan and left China for Australia on 21 Jan.

Thanks guys.
My understanding is this was shipped express.
I have purchased through this seller before and it arrived within 6 days.
Hoping for the best as I will be out of the country Feb 1st and the seller assured me it would arrive in time.

Yes, it was sent EMS (Express Mail Service), which is the fastest service one can buy through the post office. To get any faster you would have to go with a courier like DHL or UPS, which can easily cost 100 AUD or more, even for a small packet.

Some EMS items from China to Australia do arrive in as few as 4-8 days, so it is certainly possible it will show up before the end of the month. In the event that it doesn't, definitely set things up so that someone else can pick up your package if it arrives before you return: http://auspost.com.au/receiving/collecting-missed-deliveries

Hoping the same.
I require the contents for my trip overseas so worst scenario I will have a family member send it to my accommodation.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that though!
