Post Tracking number still invalid after more than a week?

Hello,
Is there any way to check if this tracking number is valid and maybe the parcel has just not been scanned yet? UG957430072CN
All tracking sites say it is invalid, but apparently it was sent over a week ago? I know sometimes it takes a few days for tracking numbers to be in the system, but a week seems to be enough...
Can you please check?

http://track-chinapost.com/result_global.php?code=UG957430072CN shows No shipping record. This means your seller did not ship anything to you. You might be scammed.

You should push seller to ship the goods immediately. Tell him if you can not track real shipment data in next 3 days, you will open dispute to aliexpress/amazon/ebay/paypal against fraud.

U is a new kind of china post ordinary small packet. Its shipment date can be tracked in http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php if it is really shipped by sender.

Thank you for your reply. It still says it is invalid, but at least U is OK. Maybe they didn't scan it yet...

It now has some tracking... Do you know if these small parcels with a tracking starting with U are handled as normal or economy mail? When would you estimate the delivery based on current tracking events?

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=UG957430072CN shows the seller shipped the parcel on Oct 7.

this kind of parcel starting with U is china post ordinary parcel. China Post will not scan and update its status after it left first post office. so you can not see new status and know where it is now.

This is a slow and cheap service for low value item. china post ordinary parcel might take 4 to 12 weeks to reach your country.

If your buyer protection is expiring, you should open dispute to paypal/aliexpress for lost parcel refund. Otherwise keep waiting.
