I'm trying to find out if my package has left for New Zealand or not, two websites tell me it's last status was international departure or On Route but if i track it fron NZ posts website it says it is in Beijing and its been in transit for 13 days it's confusing. My tracking number is LX477550518CN I was told it would arrive by the 16 October.

http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php shows LX477550518CN was sent to customs on Sep 28. As China just experienced a week-long holiday. Many parcels were delayed. You need wait one or two more weeks to get the goods.

Can you tell me what the On Route status means is it waiting to be put on a flight?

You no need understand what is On Route. Just wait one or two weeks, it should arrive your country.
