"I suspect in a couple of days you will be able to track your parcel on the Russian Post site. Parcel has arrive in Rumows (possibly Inbound Mail Arrival).

Thank you for the quick reply. That was helpful. I have one more query. The destination of the package actually India.. i had asked this to the seller.. they said every parcel transit through Russia. so is it going take even more time to reach India..? The tracking doesn't show the next destination.. The tracking no. is RS039653547CN

Hi,
Final destination of this parcel is Russia and it has been delivered on Aug 16 to somone else if you are waiting for it in India. I saw the case when parcel was transported from China via Turkey to Pakistan by the final destination was Pakistan.

2. May I suggest you contact seller as soon as possible and give him the above tracking for your parcel that was sent to Russia instead of India. See what he his going to say about that. If the answer does not meet your expectation just open a dispute to get your money back. If you open a dispute include all contact that you made with the seller as proof that the parcel was never received in India.

Is there anyway to know the contents of a package with tracking no. so that i can know if it was fake tracking no. or if it was my parcel send to a different address..?

1. No way to find out what was in the parcel that was sent to Russia. Tracking number is just that, some site might have the weight of a parcel but that would be it. Unless there is a picture of the Customs declaration no body know what really is inside the parcel.
