Post Package got Rejected?

In september when I was in China I send a package to my friend in the Netherlands. Now when i track it it says it got rejected and was send back but I have no idea where it is now. It says it is in Xinchuan? and got send somewhere. I don't know if its send back to China or back again to the Netherlands.

Can somebody please help me figure out what happened?

The package didn't contain any dangerous/illegal or forbidden stuff.

Inside was a self written note, some small souveniers (lucky chain china style) and a panda plushie.

cp319957511cn arrived Netherlands on Dec 1st . Netherlands Post tried three times delivery on Dec 2 ,Dec 7 and Dec 8 , but all failed . Then it was returned to China. Now the parcel is in China Post office in Shanghai 新川路 branch. If none pickup the parcel after free storage expiring date, it will be discarded.

If I look up that branch is has multiple stores.. In which one is my package??? I can send my friend who lives in Shanghai to retrieve it for me.

I send it from the Pudong post office should it return to the same post office as it was send from??

And can my friend get it without the official paper but a photo from the paper? Since im not in shanghai anymore I can't pick it up myself

I believe you should ask your friend call China Post hot line 11185 and inquiry pickup detail. Normally they need sender's ID or shipping payment receipt to release the parcel. But probably the rule is not that strict. It deserves a try.

As per baidu map, the post office address is 新川路333号
