(Not sure if this question might fit here or could be off-topic because it does not seem to use China Post; I don't know where else to ask for help info; although the item was bought from China [AliExpress])

I bought 3 items from AliExpress. Since they are all very small items, the free shipping method for 2 of the items is listed as "China Post Small Packet Plus" whereas the other one was listed to use "China Post Registered Airmail" (in AliExpress item listing - shipping method).

I had requested the seller to combine the items into one parcel if possible. I was expecting the seller would use China Post Registered Airmail for the combined-into-one-parcel shipment.

After several days, the seller gave me this tracking number: RN141797088MY.
I noted that this is not China Post, but rather it's using POS Malaysia. (Shipping from China => the Philippines).

I ordered (paid) the items on July 11; the seller shipped the items on July 25 (he gave me the tracking number around that day). I have been checking the tracking number for many days, but there is no update (POS Malaysia tracking and track-chinapost.com does not show any information; only global.cainiao.com shows that the tracking number is indeed China=>Philippines but there is no other information).

I have asked the seller what is the real status of the package, since I am unable to track the item. He just asked me to wait, there might be delay in the shipment.

I would like to ask what do you think of the above?

Is it possible to have "POS Malaysia" for a shipment that comes from China going to the Philippines? and no tracking updates?

some chinese seller use Pos Malaysia to ship goods from china to southeast asia countries.

however, normally parcel should be trackable in Pos Malaysia website within 2 weeks of order. RN141797088MY now is still not trackable in Pos Malaysia. this means it is a fake number. You need open dispute to aliexpress for refund.
