Post Is CP373097215CN "China Post Registered Air Mail"?

I have a package from AliExpress with tracking # CP373097215CN.

Usually China Post Registered Airmail packages have tracking number that look like RxxxxxxxxCN (more usually it's RFxxxxxxCN and RGxxxxxxCN). This is my first time to see CPxxxxxxCN.

Is there a difference between this type of China Post package and the China Post Registered Airmail?

CP****CN is register mail. But it will go through sea if it is over 2 kgs weight. R***CN is register airlmail.

Thanks for the information.

The items were ordered from AliExpress on 03/28.
The tracking number CP373097215CN indicates 04/3 "shipping info created"
There is still no actual shipping yet. I can't be sure if the items (because they include individual box) will go over 2kgs weight. If it goes by sea, that will take over 2 months.

But the AliExpress buyer protection ("on-time delivery" guarantee is 60 days), so if it does not arrive in 2 months, will have to open a dispute.

Anyway, let's see what happens. Thanks again for all the info.
